About Nick

Nick DiFrancesco has a lifetime of service to his community. As the son of a Korean War Veteran and a national commander of the American Legion, he learned early in life about service and sacrifice. That if you are going to serve, you better be ready to roll up your sleeves and work with anyone who wants to help solve the challenges the community faces.

Nick has the experience we need to get the job done serving as a former local township commissioner and county commissioner where he balanced budgets, shrank the size of the government workforce, improved employee morale, and raised the Dauphin County service standards.

As a County Commissioner, Nick inherited a county in fiscal crisis. Under his leadership they had to make tough decisions early on to fix the county’s finances. After just 7 years Nick was able to cut the size of the government workforce, balance the budget, improve morale, and delivered five straight balanced budgets with no tax increase.  Today, Dauphin County has gone 13 additional years without the need for a tax increase.

Nick has always been a small business advocate having worked as the President and CEO of the PA Community Bankers helping to ensure that every family and small business has access to quality financial solutions. He made sure his community banks remained a source of capital to job creators and that mortgages were available to families wanting to buy their first homes.

Later Nick went on to serve as the Eastern Regional Executive Director of the Churches of God. Here Nick used his leadership experience to assist churches that were experiencing new challenges in a rapidly changing culture, helping them to navigate COVOID restrictions while continuing to faithfully serve communities across the Northeastern United States. Nick is the proud dad of two kids and grandfather of 5. He and his wife have made a life in Dauphin County. He’s ready to fight for your family like he would fight for his own.
